The Team

Amy Bowling joined the Foster Village board in 2023. She is passionate about advocating for reunification with biological families, foster parenting with a focus on attachment, and helping foster moms connect with one another.

Amy is a wife, bio mom to three delightful teenagers, and a fostermom since 2014. She has loved and learned from several long-term placements - children who will always have a special place in her heart. As a licensed foster parent, she and her husband have experienced welcoming children in need of care both without any support and also while fully supported. Having this community that reaches beyond the system to support all those who love the babies and kids who have been placed in the system is invaluable, and we are so thankful that Amy wanted to be a part.
